I continue in the same context about the symptoms of social life today, according to the different concepts of democracy between people, and how they behave according to their understanding for this concept …..

The fact of the social life in several countries.

The economic circumstances is commanding in the social life of people and a lot of obstacles which prevent the progress are coming from the bad economic situation. The worldly system of wealth’s distribution isn’t fair enough for all people in every society, and the hole between rich and poor people broadens constantly.

When the rich people become richer, and the poor get more poverty, because they want only to avail so quickly in the real time and people think just in abstract benefits, regardless to the moralities. From this position; we are trying to take a moment to think about the life around us, people today almost forget why they gather the wealth in life? What’s the utility of having a big fortune in life when you can see people die because they can provide even a loaf to eat? How can these people taste the life without any iota of sense about others? Probably that everyone can find answers for himself by looking to the matter.

“me and after me the flood”…………   

The world is based on the benefits of people between each other, right, and nobody can provide a good livelihood for himself if others don’t need his work, his offers and his qualifications. That was the beginning of trade by the exchanging merchandises. So why we find a thought like : “me and after me the flood”, I mean : if I’m safe; I won’t care about others, and I won’t look back even if the flood comes on others I won’t care. So everyone thinks only in his own business, personal safety, it’s normal, but “regardless to other people whatever they’re”, I do my best to keep my benefits and I don’t look what probably happen to others (good or bad) even if I’m the reason for that but I won’t care, and there is the problem in the matter, the problem in the concept of democracy for this person.

We can’t blame anybody who takes this deformed concept in his mind, because the great powers in society and the authorities who make decisions in country, all of them forge this situation and made that as a lifestyle for society unfortunately. You can’t make the world going according to your wishes, because when you’ve the power to do it; you’ll bring many shakes on your environment (small or big)

It isn’t a platform to accuse the global system, but in fact people in everywhere suffer because of bad circumstances in life more and more, it’s a critical view on the existing system whereas we need to mention that and to lighten some aspects of this matter to see its importance on our concepts in life.

   Idiomatically the concept of democracy came from the Greek nation and created from two words with meaning of “the power of people” generally “power of the human”, but this concept was incomplete when the foreigners and slaves were excluded from the rule, and they haven’t the same rights like the citizens and the meaning exactly became “the power of liberated Greek citizens –only-“.

   The world today inherited the idea of democracy from the results of revolutions which changed the kingdom’s systems in Britain and France to legislative and popular nations (I mean the political systems). So the democracy is a feeling of dual appreciation for the human to himself and for the others in the same time, then it expanded on the entire world (to other nations). This feeling didn’t fixed with confines (unlimited), it was absolute liberation which made problems of falling down in the darkness of previous case before revolutions, this case brought several negative phenomenons which affect on the social, political, and economical life in nations.

   Because of the separation between the power “the state” and the religion “the faith ; the western nations today built their societies on tangible and economic goals in the life (worldly life only), that make people in hurry to earn more and obtain their personal interests, more of benefits, feeling of egotism, …etc.  “Whatever the means”         

   And we can see the monopoly of minority on the majority, then we get in result the citizen like a slave to his economic situation between the hands of powerful leaders, this is in the west. Although this material condition for life is controlled by governments in the east (guaranteed) but in counting on the individual freedoms.

   With time; these situations will create risks of destabilization of these societies in the near future because of there is no-means to keep the control in starting from the individual psychology even the social life of people (the soul of people together as a nation). And we’ll see the no-confidence increased, oriented liberty of speech, the monopoly, deception, avidity, stealing rights for private interest.

  The democracy (before practicing it) is a feeling of course of appreciation of the individual to himself as equal as to the others, then a system which guarantees certain conditions to provide the individual rights and social assurance in confines.

The difference between information and truth … When we deceive our minds

     In the previous article about opinions; I talked about important matter, concerning the truth, and our information (the truth as we know it). And I mentioned that we know many wrong things, but we consider them like a truth. That happens for many different reasons.

    During the centuries of our humanity in this earth; the truth was a source of disturb and it made a lot of problems in the patterns of thinking for people.

   The physicist Galileo paid his life as a price for his scientific researches about the heliocentric. And many others too, only because they gave the truth where the people aren't so ready to get it, or they can’t understand it clearly because they don’t know all details about the matter. And when you don’t know about something if it exists or no, it doesn't mean necessarily that you know really the non-existence of it. So it’s possible that there is something but only you don’t know about it.

    This condition still always between people, just the difference is in the time, in the matter and its type, scientific, historic, politic, religious. ..etc. and  because it still always; that it means there are more details they don’t know them, else the people will change the opinion. I can give more examples here: in history we all know about the worse age which called idiomatically by “the dark ages”. In these ages the humanity was flopping in obscurities of ignorance, and conflicts about thrones and a lot of wars on this earth. Where the power and strength were the judge to resist and survive.

    This is main idea about these times in the history. But the truth which the world doesn’t know is : that in the same time of “dark ages” in Europe; they were the golden ages in the southern side of the world. The Muslim civilization was from Iberian Peninsula in the west (Spain now), to the Chinese-Indian confines (in the east). The north of Africa – for example – received a lot of scientific missions of students, to study in their institutions in different domains, and also the same in Damascus, Cairo in east.

    In the same ages; this civilization brought to the humanity many and many of inventions and facilities for life, lifestyles, in medicine, agriculture, mathematics, physics, chemistry, architecture arts, and human sciences, even in transportation ways (the first researches and tries of flying were in these ages before the wright brothers).

    In the same ages the mathematicians were thinking deeply and hard to find a solution for the calculating system, and they succeed to invent “the zero”, that brought a lot of solutions in the world, also the first true geographic map of the world, …. and hundreds of examples too.

    I read many different articles in newspapers and magazines, these articles are of professors and people are very cultivated and analysts too. But in my reading; I don’t agree with all their opinions and their thoughts, and I tell myself “ yes i agree with you in this idea, but I’ve another view”, then I read more and “ no I don’t agree with you here, I don’t see the same as you see exactly,..”…etc. So before getting any information and believe it; I put my filter on my mind and I start to analyse it too. Then I’ll decide if it’s certain like 1+1=2, or I need more details about that before decision.

    Before writing these words; I watched a scientific documentary confirms that the truth isn’t always the same as we know it or as we think it. Because – sometimes – we can deceive the minds with tricks and let the minds to believe this deception, because of the details aren’t all clear for all. And another angle can give us other information, right?

    Don’t believe all what you see or what you hear, you need always more details to separate between the information and the truth.

where’s your opinion .. in the global issues

   The reading of all events in world makes many different analyses, and the basic resource in world of getting information today is the media, where we can through it, we can make our opinions in these matters from the several opinions shown on media. And that confirms the impossibility of media to be objective in showing the truth for people, for these reasons, i chose the media as a powerful resource. But unfortunately many of these opinions become ours too, and more, they become our convictions.  And we often talk and behave in starting from these ideas. Though the truth (sometimes) isn’t the same as we know it and not all what we know is the truth.

 So these opinions control us although they aren’t absolute, and they guide our decisions and views in life too.

   The most striking example I know now is : the bad image in world of Muslims as a nation, many accuses, hate, revulsion , and marginalization ...etc., all that just appear when people hear the word “Muslim”, regardless to the person or his origins, or his education. And we see clearly the stereotype which isn’t based on truth, but on some opinions only of intellectual currents. “ There the damage in reflection of people when these opinions become convictions “. Consequently; the final judgment won’t be true and fair enough always, and wrong in many times. Later I’ll talk more about this topic (what we really know).

    Here I wanted to warn you about some things, what do you say about all what you hear? Do you agree with all these opinions, and you accept them like absolute truth, and you believe in them? (Just because of harmonization with your tendencies). Or the right thing is to look for the truth through searching about all aspects before make a judgment?.

  When we’ve more information, we’ll have new view often and different opinions, and we can’t never find more information if we just rely on the same resources (by the way, the only resource here is the media).

  Generally this is the reality, but I want to focus on the individual in his close world, with relatives, friends, and colleagues. As the media affect our positions and our minds in different matters; also, the people around us affect our views and our minds in personal issues. In the next article, I’ll give some logical ideas to overcome the pressures (coming through opinions of these people) about the personal life.
